From 1999 to 2003, I was employed as Editor and Senior Copywriter of Vivre, the world’s first, direct-to-consumer luxury lifestyle catalog to offer products curated from a roster of 400 global luxury brands. Coined a magalog, Vivre was enormously successful, providing consumers with access to many luxury brands across all markets that were not readily available in the U.S. outside of large metropolitan areas. Vivre collaborated with only the most reputable still life and lifestyle photographers and stylists to establish exceptional production values and aesthetics befitting the prestigious brands promoted within each issue. I am privileged to have been involved in nearly every aspect of design and production due to my extensive training in the standards of the AP Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style, the art of typography, and my innate awareness of the synergy between copy and imagery. Though I left Vivre in 2003 to join PAMP as its Brand Director, I continued to consult with and provide copywriting and editorial services to the company until 2007.
